tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born January 24 1979) is an American singer and actress best recognized for her performance as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 until 1996. Tyana Jones is her TV One character, was her first television show. Ali also played Roxanne in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Ali was a six-year-old girl, began her acting career with Sesame Street in 1985. It also featured an appearance by jazz legend Herbie Hancock who demonstrated his Fairlight CMI synthesizer with a sound sample of Ali's voice. Star Search also featured her in two episodes.
