Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, she had three brothers and sisters. When her parents separated, she was only 17 years older. As their business fell apart her family was faced with more problems with finances. Being bipolar and anorexic and bulimic, further exacerbated her issues. Gossow spoke very openly regarding her decision to quit ARCH Enemy's band as their vocalist. She said, "There's a place and time for every thing." When I started, it was in 1991. I was enjoying life out on the roads was diminishing. Instead of pretending I quit, I decided to stop. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow in 2000. The song You're the Vocal is one of the songs that Australian vocalist John Farnham released in 1986 which became an immediate success in Australia along with other European countries like Ireland and the UK. Her most well-known work is her vocals as lead in the Swedish metalcore band Arch Enemy, and was the original vocalist, and founding lead of Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. Arch Enemy is a band worthy of respect.
